FINALE!!

Today, we are to do the remaining of the wind chime parts. Initially, we are 90% complete. We hope that our products come out really good.

We paint on the cap around the bottle with green as our product objective is GREEN!!

Then, we assemble the remaining part of the bottom part to be attached to the bottle and cap part and we put a small cactus which represent that we support green (green plant). We have complete!!!. Wow it really looks like a wind chime in the beach. Picturing the wind chime in the beach. This is our wind chime product. At last with sweats and hard works, we finally finish it. Hopes that our wind chime product will be marketed out in Parkson and the middle east. Thanks for viewing our blog and appreciating our products and here are some of the videos we would like to share before we end it. Chuckles!!

I guess we need to learn physics to invent that...hehe cool product!!

Progress Part 2

Ha, here we are again. Maybe, this time we can finish our product since we had planned all and our materials and resources are complete. We meet up early at 8 am in the morning on SUNDAY. Imagine people are still sleeping and we are doing our wind chime product (Hardworking and Committed). So, we meet up at concourse and start assemble our product. First, We clean up the coconut to make it nice and enable easy implementation of hole into it.

David has the drill (David the driller) and drill all the holes in the coconut to make a hole in order to hang our metal bar. Then, we went to a hardware shop call LKK hardware shop in Puchong to find an appropriate metal bar which will produce a more earing sound. David drilling the metal bar. Owner pass by and had intention to hire. xD

After that, we had our lunch at and back to work. We combine and start designing our product and fix all the necessary in assembling it.

One donkey and One clown...wonders what their babies look like...hmmmm.

Thats all for today. Our final assemblement will take place tomorrow and all of you can see how it looks like. Hopes its good! :P

Progress Part 1

Basically, last Friday, we had started to clean all our material and plan to do the outer part of our design which needed to be attached on our wind chime. I and David have clean all up and waited for it to dry. After that, we can start assemble the shell of our product.

After that, we meet with our team members in the concourse and discussed on the proper ways in starting to assemble our products. It seems pretty hard as we need to implement step by step with no error including in it. So, we decide to start off with the beer cap and following by others in fixing it together.

Then, we started our wind chime product by using the materials that we had collect and make them.

This lady think she so pro and snatch my work....see...at last also need people to help with it..
David: Noob la...
Wc: Wad to do?
Yi Xin: Diam la!

Okay, then we started to used our thread string in piercing throught the hole of the beer cap that we had hammered and attached it to the surface of the bottle making a round shape.

It really took a very long time because we need to measure the size of the hole in order for the string to go in and form a circle shape. Ming Ji direct us all in the process of the designing which we appoint him as like our devil advocate ha ha. At last, we manage to attached the caps around the bottle of the body thanks to Yuan Yuan for fixing it and it is a relief!!

Thats all for now. Next, we going to implement and upgrade more on our wind chime and will be completed soon. Awaits!!!

Design & Materials (The Beginning)

It's been a long time folks. So, we have been working out lately in implementing our wind chime which we had several meetings and discussion in brainstorming the ideas and design. Now Greenslite is going to update on the design where we had came out our own innovation in implementing it.

We had been discussed for quite some time for our design and had collected materials and resources as well in implementing them such as beer cap, coconuts, metal bars and others which most of them are within our budget and low-cost materials.

After conducting a lengthy research, we had decided what we will be choosing wind chime as our green product. For those who do not know what is wind chime, wind chime basically constructed based on tubes which made from metal or wood and usually hung outside of the house to be played by the wind. It tend to produce sounds strike by the wind which many people had superstitious believes that it help them in many ways. This is the rough idea of what a wind chime looks like :
